Open Question: Makeover help please?

I'm sick of being an average-looking tomboy :''( - I want to have more style... Right now, I have straight, shoulder-length medium brown hair, don't wear any make-up and just kinda wear sweatpants and t-shirts. It's my junior year of college and I'd like to look more polished and express myself more through my appearance. I'm fairly short (5'3") and have a slim hourglass shape, oval face, light/medium skin and hazel eyes (more blue and brown than green though).
